Melissa Faccini Deming

Melissa was born in Bogota, Colombia and is a native Spanish speaker. She brings deep classroom experience and a family-centered perspective to every learning plan she designs.

Before founding Bilingual Stars, Melissa taught 4th and 5th grade in Chicago Public Schools (CPS) for 9 years. Her teaching approach combines strong academic expectations with encouragement, joy, and practical support for every child.

Melissa and her husband, Kyle Deming, are raising their two sons, Matteo and Manuel. Her work is shaped by both her professional background and her own day-to-day experience as a parent.
